2018 was a fantastic year for sport and this year is set to be no different. Looking on the portal, you can also bet on each of the upcoming events. Here we cover the sporting events not to be missed throughout the year.

Six Nations – Feb/March

The Six Nations Championship kicks off the year and is a must watch for Rugby fans. It is set to be the 20thseries of the annual northern hemisphere Rugby Union Championship. It is going to be contested by France, England, Italy, Scotland, Wales and the defending champions Ireland.

Cheltenham Festival – March

The marquee event of the national hunt season is the Cheltenham festival, which continues to grow in popularity. The key race for the meeting as always is set to be the Gold Cup, which will be taking place on the 15thMarch.

The Grand National – April

The most famous horse race in the world and one of the most incredible sporting occasions each year, which draws millions of spectators from around the world. The 2019 edition of the race will be taking place on the 6thof April, and will again be ran on Aintree racecourse in Liverpool, England.

US Masters – April

The key event of the Golfing season as the US Masters takes place in April. The event is set to take place at the famous Augusta National Golf course, as American Patrick Reed will be looking to defend his title. This is the first major of the season as the world’s best battle for the ‘green jacket’.

Royal Ascot – June

Another incredible sporting occasion that cannot be missed is Royal Ascot. The annual event takes places each year in June, as both fashion and stunning sporting action comes to the fore. It is also renowned due to the continued interest from the Royal family.

Wimbledon – July

The biggest event in Tennisas the world’s best players face off for the famous Wimbledon title. It is going to be taking place throughout July, with vast expected viewing figures from around the world. It is an event not to be missed.

Rugby World Cup – September/November

Ninth edition of the Rugby world cup takes place in 2019 with Japan hosting the tournament. This will be the first time the tournament is held in Asia and is a sporting event not to be missed this year. New Zealand will be heading in as the team to beat.
