There are four courses (Bandon Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and Pacific Dunes) to select from, including large sloping fairways and extensive foliage stretches. There are multiple opportunities to experience its idyllic landscape with four courses available, considering each hole offers a golfer a different perspective.
Whistling Straits (Sheboygan, WI)
When you think of Wisconsin, you normally don’t think of golf, but Whistling Straits is worth exploring for a golf enthusiast. Multiple champions earned a major on this lengthy par-72 course, including two PGA Championships that ended in a playoff.
Most recently, Whistling Straits was the site for the 2021 Ryder Cup, which saw the United States defeat the European squad 19-9. The beautiful sight of the Lake Michigan shoreline is nice to gaze at as you walk the links-style course.
Cypress Point (Pebble Beach, CA)

Sadly, Cypress Point is nearly impossible to play for those bucket-listers because of its lack of inclusivity. Non-members need sponsorship to play a round.
Pebble Beach (Pebble Beach, CA)
Pebble Beach Golf Links is not a bad consolation prize if you cannot get a tee time at Cypress Point. It’s a public golf course with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. Pebble Beach is a fantastic combination of land and water, with stunning scenery that includes mountains and trees. This 18-hole, par-72 course offers both difficulties and breathtaking views that will make a lasting impression on players. You can take a practice round on a golfing simulator before you tee up in person.
