Being a Super Bowl MVP is every player’s dream! But can the current stars take the crown away from the most star-studded player of all time? This season, Tom Brady is predicted to earn another MVP title to add to his collection! As the player with the most Super Bowl MVPs, how can we expect anything else?
What Does MVP Mean?
Of course, we cannot create predictions based on previous work alone; the Super Bowl odds are never that simple!
MVP means Most Valuable Player. It is a title that comes with pride and honor, given out by a panel by 16 football writers and broadcasters, along with millions of fan suggestions.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady has been given the title Most Valuable Player 5 times! 4 of them were issued during his time with the New England Patriots and 1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady is a quarterback and current plays for Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He is often considered the best quarterback of all time, and with his amazing records, how can you disagree! Some of Brady’s records include 91,653 passing yards, 8,542 completions, and 664 touchdown passes! These numbers are astonishing, but it doesn’t stop there.
Tom Brady has so far never had a losing season! With 264 NFL wins, 230 regular-season wins, and 34 playoff wins, this outstanding sportsman is incredible!
Joe Montana
Joe Montana was another quarterback. Before Tom Brady came along, Montana held the record for most MVP title, having earned 3 in his 20-year career.
Originally Montana played for San Francisco 49ers, and he stuck with them from 1979 until 1992. In 1993 Montana moved to Kansas City Chief, but he stayed for just one year before deciding to retire.
One of the most notable highlights of Montana’s career was a moment forever remembered as “The Catch.” Montana scored the gaming-winning touchdown pass to win the 1981 NFL Championship!
With the NFL life behind him, Montana now produces wine in San Francisco under the label Montagia.
Bart Starr
Bart Starr, along with the next three players, has won a total of 2 MVP awards. Starr was a quarterback for the Green Bay Packers from 1956 until 1971 when he made the switch to coach.
Not only did Starr win 2 MVP awards, but he also won the first 2 ever! This fantastic feat made him an instant member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and what Packers Hall of Fame!
Even now, Starr has the title of highest postseason passer in NFL history, with an impressive 104.8 rating! And until 2003, Star held the record for the most played games in the Packer’s franchise.
Terry Bradshaw
Terry Bradshaw was also a quarterback! He played for Pittsburgh Steelers from 1970 until 1983. His 13-year career was filled with bouts of energy and entertainment, which makes sense seeing as he is also an actor and singer!
Bradshaw helped his team win the Super Bowl 4 times in a 6 year period, which made him the first quarterback to win 3 and the first quarterback to win 4 Super Bowls! This fantastic achievement was what put Bradshaw in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989. He was admitted as soon as he was eligible, which should tell you just how loved he was in his time!
Eli Manning
Heading back to recent years again, Eli Manning is the last person to earn more than 1 MVP award. With two of the titles under his belt, the New York Giants quarterback has had an amazing career. Manning played for the Giants from 2004 until 2019, and although he had struggled with consistency throughout his career, this massive player in the NFL games was a powerful wild card in the Giant’s hands!
