Tis The Season For Pac-12 College Football

The days are getting shorter and the nights longer. The temperature has been dropping for many states and leaves are changing colors, which can mean only one thing: College football season is upon us.

Last week, many of us watched the opening games of our favorite college teams (Go Ducks!) For those of you who missed it, we have a little update for you. The Washington Huskies lost to the Auburn Tigers, 16 to 21. Washington State Cougars beat the Wyoming Cowboys, 41 to 19. The Oregon State Beavers lost to the Ohio State Buckeyes, 31 to 77. Last but not least, the Oregon Ducks won against the Bowling Green Falcons, 58 to 24.

Many college teams spent weeks in intense practice sessions, sadly it only shows with a few of the teams. It’s early in the season still, let’s hope the Northwest teams can pick it up and take themselves to one of the bowls. Naturally, I am rooting for the Ducks, however, I am excited to see what the other teams can do.

This week’s games take place on Saturday the 8th. Washington Huskies play against North Dakota Fighting Hawks at 2 p.m. Washington Cougars will play the San Jose State Spartans at 8 p.m. At 5 p.m. you can watch the South Utah Thunderbirds take on the Oregon State Beavers. And catch the Oregon Ducks take on the Portland State Vikings at 11 a.m.

As for the Pac-12 rankings, the Huskies are ranked 9thwhile the Ducks sit at 23rd. Sadly, the Beavers and Cougars aren’t even ranked, yet. They still have time to get their place on the leaderboard.

We will keep you updated on the wins, losses, rankings, and notable plays.
