Though Mason Beaupit was the losing goaltender, his 55 saves in the game netted him third star of the game.

Kelowna Rocks scored twice in the first against the Prince George Cougars, who finally scored in the third period to end the game at 2-1. The Cougars outshot the Rockets 31-25, going 1-6 on the powerplay to 1-5 for Kelowna.

1 game will be played on Monday with the BC Division and 12 games on Tuesday, which will feature the Hawks versus Tri-City, and 2 games in the BC Division on Wednesday which will be the completion of the BC Division with Prince George and Kamloops and the Kelowna Rockets playing Victoria Royals to end the abbreviated season.

From there, the teams will finish their exit interviews and get ready for the 2021-22 season as yet uncertain road ahead. As the pandemic may hopefully come to a close, one can hope borders will open and allow players to return to teams they currently play for. A few were “loaned” to other teams based on geography as they couldn’t cross borders.
