Hungry At A Mariners Game? Here Are The Must-Try Eats At T-Mobile Park

There’s a lot going on in the world, so today I just want to have some fun. I’m not a foodie or in the restaurant business, so my thoughts aren’t law. But this is my take on the food options at T-Mobile Park this year. There are too many choices to review the entire park, but here are a few things that stood out to me.

For the purposes of this article, I’m going to leave alcohol out of the mix and focus strictly on the grub. I’m already getting excited, so let’s get to the burritos, piroshkys, and a wide variety of BBQ.

1. El Rinconsito

The first restaurant I’m going to highlight at T-Mobile Park is El Rinconsito. Rinconsito was started in the mid-90s by Lupe Guzman in a suburb south of Seattle. This restaurant brings authentic Mexican food to the ballpark.

Edgar’s Cantina might always be the original, but El Rinconsito gives fans another great option. Some of the menu items include asada quesadillas, birria burritos, and horchata frescas.

They also offer value menu quesadillas.

This should prove to be a popular option and can be found at the T-Mobile ‘Pen.

2. Piroshky Piroshky

This one is probably my favorite due to my Russian origins. My grandma was born in Russia before immigrating to the United States during World War II.

Just like El Rinconsito, Piroshky Piroshky is new to the park.

For those unfamiliar with a piroshky, it’s a baked or fried yeast dough bun traditionally filled with beef, potato, or cheese.

The key before ordering here is deciding between classic and adventurous.

As a Russian-American, anything other than the traditional options of beef and cheese or potato and cheese hurts my soul a bit. But I’m also a pineapple-on-pizza guy, so this is a judgment-free zone.

They also offer American-inspired options like bacon cheeseburger, smoked salmon, and chocolate cream hazelnut for dessert.

Double Piroshky can be found in Section 132.

3. Rolling Smoke BBQ

Another new addition to the park is Rolling Smoke BBQ. Rolling Smoke was founded locally by a married couple who turned their passion for barbecue into a prominent restaurant.

The husband-and-wife team turned their idea into a business, and now they have a spot inside the home of the Seattle Mariners.

There are already a couple of barbecue spots at T-Mobile Park, such as Jack’s BBQ and Holy Smoke BBQ, but Rolling Smoke will try to carve out its own niche.

Some of the menu options include a rib platter, pulled pork sandwich, and loaded mac and cheese.

They also offer BBQ pit beans and coleslaw on the side.

4. Marination

The last place I’m going to talk about today has already been in the park for several years, and that’s the local Hawaiian spot Marination.

But this is about one dish, and one dish only: the Loco Moco.

Loco Moco is a combination of white rice, a hamburger patty, gravy, and a fried egg. There’s really nothing else to say other than it might be the most beautiful thing known to mankind.
